Cannon Brew Pub in Columbus

This place is amazing! I got the pecan chicken sandwich with the tomato jam and it was delicious! I couldn't even finish it, it was so filling. My husband got the Elvis burger with peanut butter and caramelized bananas. Also delicious! Our server Alyssa was great too. This is now one of our favorite places to go.

Never been to the Cannon Brew Pub before. My boyfriend and I came to visit for the first time and it was EXCELLENT SERVICE! Our server Corinne was super helpful and had excellent customer service. We definitely recommend this place and will be back shortly!! THANK YOU guys so much for an amazing first time!

Slightly pricey for what you get, but it is good. The service is also good. Friend goes back for the Mac burger, have had the Philly and their cougar sandwich(that was small). Still go back every once in a while.

The meat that they use for Burgers must came from cows that drank from a golden fountain filled with pure mountain water, their skin washed in a hot spring, and got kisses and hugs from the farmers. I am saying that Burger was GREAT!

Came on Monday of restaurant week. Oh man! I was NOT disappointed!!! The food was better than I could of imagined! I look forward to coming back soon!! Hope I can make it back before this week ends!! The fried chicken with the mac n cheese was my favorite!! The ice cream with bourbon was delicious!! I made my husband jealous he wasn't in town to share my food!! Hope you have that fried green tomato BLT around more too!! Stop in you wont be disappointed!!

Cannon is a must stop when visiting Uptown Columbus! The food & libations - including in house brew- are as good as it gets with affordable prices. Service is good as well.

Great menu variety. Excellent service. I had the beer cheese soup and it was delicious. I also had the meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes. The other guys in the group had a variety of different burgers. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We even made room for dessert.

I love micro craft brew pubs.

Great micro beer selection (I had the Special Ops IPA) and wood fired pizza. Lots of local friendlies at the bar made for a pleasant couple hours on a Sunday evening.

The food here is fantastic, not to mention the local brew. Much better quality than your typical bar or pub food, everything tasted very fresh and had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed the their house brew as well, paired perfectly with the food. Also the prices are very very reasonable. Had great service that was quick and very friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing! Had the After Midnight Burger with spicy Mac and cheese. It was the best burger I've had in so long, I can't remember. The Porter beer was delicious and I rate the food and beer here an 11 on a 10 scale. Roll me out the door, I'm done until next time!

Always a great experience! The buffalo wings and pizza are really good! The service is always excellent. I've been here other times and everything I've ordered has been really good. Will be back!

Great fries. Mashed potatoes tasted boxed. Monte Cristo really good. Salmon small but not over cooked. Beer rings large and good. Chicken fingers hard. Lively and loud (even on a Thursday). Server was slow and another appeared drunk (stumbling and holding onto the walls. Luckily he was cleaning tables outside after that). Excellent place for burger, fries, beers, and friends. Not so much for families (though they have a kids menu) or intimate conversation. They lost a star for spotty service and over extended menu. Just stick to the pub food and bring your friends (not your kids. Lots of loud cursing).

Good local place wonderful selection great atmosphere

Didn't receive any service.after being seated.My party of two visited the restaurant and requested outdoor seating. We gave our phone number and was told that a text would let us when our table was ready. After waiting for 30+ min and seeing people walk up and get seated, I went inside and asked about our table. The host then seated us with menus and told us a server would be with us to take our orders. We sat for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. We saw another party get seated and have a sever tend to them. After another 10 minutes of waiting to we got up and left. The service was too poor to bother asking for anything at that point.

We love this place. Both my wife and I have the custom mugs they offer with membership, and there have been several occasions we have forgotten our numbers on our mugs, but the waitstaff searches tirelessly until they find them. The entire staff is friendly and ready to help. We celebrate family events, birthdays and holidays here. We love that there are renovations being done, and we will continue to frequent the Cannon as long as the service remains the same.

This the place to go. Excellent service & the food is delicious! It is definitely a popular hang out & it's easy to see why. Our group got three different burgers, the turkey wrap & the Monte Cristo with the spicy mac & cheese. All meals were super fresh & off the chart good. Perfect set up for large groups. If you're in Columbus for your soldier or for any reason, come here!

Had a Tiger Burger whic was fantastic and slso thr Monte Cristo. First time here by recommendation of a local and was definitely not disappointed

Awesome! Just left and the food was outstanding! Nathan our server went above and beyond (we have an autistic son that can be a little trying in a restaurant. Has a weird love of cherry tomatoes. Nathan got him a whole bowl which make the our day.) You have got to try the Plukit Sandwich, it’s to die for! I had the cheeseburger which was outstanding. The Alfredo was “the best ever” as per my 8 year old daughter. Fired pickles where just as good as we remembered (we were stationed here 3 years ago) All around great lunch, great atmosphere, great staff. Oh yeah! Didn’t catch the hostess’s name but she was wonderful as well, super friendly. This will be a regular place for us for sure.

My husband, extended family & I used to regularly visit Cannon. But after reopening, they have honestly gone to hell in a hand basket with their service. The last two times we went and ate, we had terrible service, including a server who told us menu items weren’t available, even though they were. (Buffalo chicken tenders as an appetizer, for a specific example.) The last time we went to eat, we had been seated for SEVEN minutes without anyone coming to take our drink order. In fact, there were (oddly enough) SEVEN servers and a manager standing around the bar talking, and could clearly see us waiting for service. We got up and left. As if to tell this wasn’t just us, the table behind us also left due to lack of service. I used to love this place, but it is no longer worth the interest to me, and I discourage anyone from going there.

Great location for a brew pub with an old school vibe. I had the pecan crusted chicken sandwich and it was perfect, the best food I have had in Georgia!! The beer was excellent and prices fair while the waitress was friendly and respectful. I will definitely return!

Eaten here a couple of times they have big burgers (10 oz) that all taste great along with the appetizers ( try the fried buffalo cauliflower). The salmon is ok but don't expect any added flavor from the chipotle sauce, and the cheddar potatoes were lacking cheddar. Basically stick with the pub food and you will happy!! It has nice outside and inside sitting with a nice selection of brews and a welcoming environment with friendly workers.

This place is growing fast! I sampled several of the beers here and they were great. I also had something to eat. The Nashville Hot chicken was savory and delicious. I want to have it again. If you have time to check out this place. I encourage you to do so

The service was amazing and the food oh so amazing!! Good flavors of beer and home made root beer! I will be coming back for sure and make sure you try the raspberry sauce. The deep fried pickle appetizer could be a meal on it's own best batter and pickle I have tasted yet!

The atmosphere is great, so is the house brew, and friendly staff. Tried the Sledge Hammer and the Greek Pizza. Very Good! A nice place to relax and enjoy.

Food was delicious and servers are nice. This is a place I will for sure come back to. I highly recommend the Salmon as it had great taste and the sauce was just a perfect blend of tangy and sweet making the salmon just perfect. Only negative is our server didn't really check up on us during the meal so I didn't get my water refilled or the rest of my broccoli that she promised me.

Good food, good service. Better than most downtown restaurants. Great men's room with a keg for a urinal.

We stopped in for lunch with our new Army Ranger to get a Ranger mug. We enjoyed a few appetizers, fried pickles and chicken nachos. They were delivered hot and fresh and tasted great. We all had several different burgers, everyone liked their selection. They all tasted good and were hot and fresh. I drank the golden ale craft beer, I was not crazy about it. I tasted a few other beers at the table but did not care for any of them. I think they just were not the style craft beer I enjoy. I would go back for the good for sure.

Initially tried to visit this place as a part of a larger group of 15. They mis-recorded our seating request for only 4 people had us wait 30 minutes only to be told we would have to wait another 30 minutes because of their mistake. Went back the same night with a party of 3, for seated almost immediately. They have vegan and vegetarian options and their pizzas are good although the sauce is a little in the sweet side. Their moon-pie banana pudding was supposed to be amazing and delicious, but the two flavors didn't really mesh well. I won't order it again, but will give the restaurant a second chance sometime later.

This spot was recommended by a resident. I was visiting the area for work. My Cannon Burger was huge and good. It's hard to mess up any protein when it's on a brioche bun. I was disappointed that our server did not make any suggestions such as sweet potatoe fries when she informed me that the onion rings were too big for one person. I happened to see them on other guests plates after our orders arrived. Servers need to understand the business side of being knowledgeable about the menu and making suggestions. By the way, construction is underway outside and it was hard to locate the place. The decor on the inside has a nice touch with the ornate wood art that adorns the walls.

My husband’s favorite restaurant in Columbus!! So many varieties of beers. Good atmosphere. Oh their pizza is the best. Usually I don’t like pizza (I’m weird I know) so I ordered myself a salad and my husband ordered Greek pizza. I ended up eating his pizza and he helped me with my salad lol. The crust was so crunchy!!

Honestly fun time. Will definitely go again

The burgers are amazing. The prices are great. I’m not super impressed with the beer selection though. They are all sweet. They are named awesome things but man. The beer is like half sweet tea.

Definitely an uptown favorite that we've eaten at a few times and it hasn't disappoint. Today's lunch service was timely and food were great. My husband wished his burger plate had more fries but he was just very hungry. My only complaint was the sauce that came with the calamari appetizer and my tacos was sweet and could have been left out. Definitely recommend the calamari without the sauce, it had a perfect amount of breading & was cooked well. I'm also happy they offer sweet potatoes (sun spots) as a side.

Excellent service with just the right balance of being helpful but not hovering. I had the Tiger burger and my daughter had the Bama burger, both were excellent and prepared just as we requested. The atmosphere is historic and relaxing. It is currently under renovation but the experience is still very good. The manager checked on us and was friendly. Overall great experience.

Amazing pub! I always come here with my friends to enjoy their cold delicious pints. The staff is very friendly and the service they provide is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and the prices are good.

Food wasn't that good...but Service and Cocktails very good

The Jambalaya pasta was great. The burgers were pretty good also. The food proportions are a good size. The balcony overlooks the street and the waitress were nice.

We had dinner here while visiting Columbus and it was very good. Although they were out of the seasonal appetizer we ordered the others we had were hot and tasty. My friend had the shrimp and grits, he orders this every where we go and he said this was one of the best he’s had. Chad, our server, was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend you try it out.

Great food and great drinks. Amazing impossible Burger

Burgers were HUGE and delicious. Beers were good too, staff pleasant. Whole Pig Pizza loaded with pork toppings and great crust.

Everything we ordered were yummy. Big Portion and reasonably priced.

All of our food was delicious!! My mouth is watering as I'm finally posting my pics and review?! Wonderful building and atmosphere, service was quick and friendly. We had a hard time choosing what to offer but there were no bad choices! Chicken and waffles were delicious, blue cheese burger was awesome and the beer soup was a clear winner!! All the sides were tadtybut the green beans were the best! Parking was a bit stressful on the weekend but worth the effort!
